payment / deposit:
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your cottage. We require a credit card number to be held upon check-in for any damages incurred. You will pay the balance of your bill when you check in.
cancellation policy:
We require 14 days advance notice to make a cancellation. In the event a cancellation is made in less than 14 days, and for no-shows, you will be charged 50% of the total invoice. No refunds are given for early check outs, for any reason.
If you need to make a cancellation, but do not want to lose your deposit, we are happy to offer it to you as a “credit” toward another stay and will be happy to book other dates for you instead.
check in / check out:
Check-in is between 3 pm and 9 pm, Eastern Time. Check-out is 11am. If you will be checking in later than the normal check-in times, please respond to the email you will be receiving 4 day prior to check in with your anticipated arrival times and we will arrange to give you access to your cottage.
age:
You must be 21 and show photo ID to rent at Blue Door Cottages.
no smoking ( only outside ):
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all of the cottages and around the pool. Each cottage is outfitted with a cigarette smoke detection device and you will be charged a $200 cleaning fee if smoking occurred in the room. You make smoke outside, so long as you dispose of any cigarette butts in the provided receptacles.
no pets:
Unfortunately, we do not allow any pets at Blue Door Cottages. This applies inside the cottages, or on the grounds, either by you or anyone visiting you on the property.
cottage number changes:
We reserve the right to assign you to a different cottage if necessary for administrative purposes. You will get the same floor plan or better, but possibly a different cottage number.
no fireworks :
Anywhere, on either side of the property.
